As most of you know by now, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to document my move to Los Angeles, working on my new album and training to run a 5k. WHAT IS LIFE.
Earlier today I screencapped the album when it came up as #20 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts. I’m around people like…Angus & Julia Stone, Lissie, Tyrone Wells, Boyce Avenue. I am from the smallest place in the world and for some reason people are listening to my music…and what is life.

‘This Year’ is HERE!
So, it’s here! And, it’s so shiny and new!!!
Finally my second full-length album is here! Also, it’s the first album I’ve put out through DFTBA (http://www.dftba.com)!
The songs on this album are ones you might be familiar with if you’ve been following me for the past few years. It took me a while to write this, but was recorded in just a few weeks. Between travel and the studio I recorded at closing, it was a lot of work in a short amount of time, but that’s a whole other blog post for another day.
The physical album does have a hidden bonus track on it that you won’t find on the iTunes version. For everyone who keeps asking me about “Track Number 10″, the official title of this song is “Not So Little Now”.
It feels super surreal that it’s all done and out. I can’t wait to hear what all of you think! Over the next month I’ll be touring the East Coast with my friend, Mike Falzone, so you’ll get to hear a lot of this new album…and maybe even a few new/new songs.
Since the Tuesday release, ‘This Year’ has been creeping up the Singer/Songwriter iTunes chart.
Just even seeing my face near some of those people makes me have little fangirl heart palpitations.

Project Lifesize on the NEWS!?
Just as I am about to go to bed, I got linked to a news story from CBS Philly Local News. You can read the article and see the video below.
Basically, they mentioned and showed my collab channel, Project Lifesize. Oh, news. How you love taking videos without having the courtesy to send a message :-p
I kid, I kid. It’s pretty cool that the channel got mentioned. Hopefully people check it out and stick around. I’m also prepared for the general backlash.

I’ve spent the past few days trying to figure the ins and outs of WordPress.
I’ve muddled my way through it enough to have this! So, hopefully you dig it too.
I’m excited to have a place where I can constantly update you on everything, blog, link to articles and videos, etc.
